Quoted Speech & Reported Speech

Quoted and reported speech is a continuous sentence such as question and answer like a question and answer, like a direct and indirect.

Quoted Speech: Sentence of the first direct delivery to second, or more usually is quoted speech.

Reported Speech: Sentence of delivery to third party but does not directly conveyed the same as indirect.

Example Quoted speech:

Mother said “Do not play football in the rain.”

Reported speech:

Siska said she enjoyed watching the movie barbie.
